Bob was raised on a farm in Hale and Swisher counties, where he learned the value of hard work and developed a lifelong appreciation for the land. In 1999, after he and Jeanine built their first home, Bob shifted into real estate and construction to diversify the family’s income. He quickly discovered how much he enjoyed working with homeowners—building, problem-solving, and guiding clients through complex transactions.

In 2007, Bob entered the energy sector with Hillard Energy in Midland, Texas, and by 2009, he became the broker for Hillard Land Services. That role opened doors to large-scale energy project work across the country. Over the next 17 years, he led a team that leased or optioned over one million acres for wind, solar, BESS, and gas development and secured hundreds of miles of transmission corridors across nine states.

Alongside his real estate work, Bob and his family also own Bar B Services, a land services and consulting firm supporting energy developers with site evaluation, acquisition, and construction.

Bob brings unmatched experience, a calm problem-solving approach, and a deep respect for landowners to every project he takes on.
